The Beautiful Snowy Owls are invading the lower states again this year because of a lack of food in the Artic. I was thrilled to see 2 of them this past weekend in southern Maine. They are getting a lot of attention, too much at times. People need to remember why they are here, because they are starving and need to find food. We must not prevent them from their task while admiring their beauty, and give them the space they need to hunt. They really don’t pay a lot of attention to us as long as we stay away from their hunting grounds. This one flew over my head and lit on a pole, allowing me some nice shots.
