A bird eating a shark?

Great Blue Heron eating a shark

This photograph was created with the Canon 600mm f/4 L IS II USM lens (Canon 600mm f/4 L IS II USM review), the Canon EOS 7D, on a Gimbal head and tripod. Have a look at the equipment I typically carry with me.

The photograph above is a Great Blue Heron with a baby shark in its beak! Incredible, those Herons a fierce and will capture just about anything in the right size. Who would have thought? A bird eating a shark!! This shot was taken at Fort Desoto park, Florida. Check out my Fort Desoto / Alafia Banks workshop, I will be happy to demonstrate how to improve your photographs and give the final touch with Photoshop! I invite you to follow the Bird & Wildlife Photography blog not to miss other beautiful image creations.
