Generally flash can kill a good photo can’t it? This is great though and there are many butterflies here so i will try the same!
Actually flashes are great for fast moving creatures like butterflies and hummingbirds. It ‘freezes’ their moving parts so you don’t get the blur of motion in your shot. But not all flashes are the same, there is a lot of helpful tools online now a days to help.
